Purple Wave Infocom Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled AV Installation Team Member to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the setup, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AV systems for a wide range of projects. This position requires an individual with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Setup: Perform installations of AV equipment, including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing setups, display screens, and other related technology for corporate, educational, and entertainment spaces.
• System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of AV systems with other technologies such as lighting, automation systems, and network configurations.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AV systems and equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to client services.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Provide ongoing maintenance, servicing, and repairs to AV systems, ensuring they are operational and meeting client requirements.
• Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients during and after installation, offering guidance on system usage and addressing any concerns or feedback.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation procedures, system configurations, and equipment used.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the project management and technical support teams to ensure that all installation projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks after installations to ensure that all systems function properly and meet industry standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in AV systems or related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in AV system installations, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in installing and configuring AV systems, including audio and video equipment, control systems, and display technology.
  • Knowledge of networking, Wi-Fi configurations, and basic IT troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard AV equipment brands (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Bose, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from recognized AV or IT organizations (e.g., AVIXA, CTS).
• Experience working on large-scale commercial AV installation projects.
• Basic understanding of CAD software or project management tools.

• 0–1 Year (Fresher): ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
• 2–3 Years (Relevant Sales Experience): ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month
• 3–5 Years (B2B Relevant Sales Experience): ₹50,000 – ₹70,000 per month

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive / Sales Manager for the Guwahati and North-East region, responsible for selling Audio-Visual (AV) products and solutions across Education, Government, PSU, Corporate, Hospitality, and IT sectors. The candidate will drive B2B, B2C, and B2G sales, engage with clients, identify opportunities, and deliver customized AV solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

• Identify and develop business opportunities in Government, PSU, Education, IT, Corporate, and Hospitality sectors.
• Conduct market mapping to identify institutions, departments, and decision-makers.
• Generate leads through field visits, networking, cold calling, and digital outreach.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans for monthly/quarterly targets.
• Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, demos, and proposals.

2. Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships across Guwahati and North-East.
• Understand client requirements and recommend AV solutions (projectors, displays, PA systems, VC solutions, interactive panels, etc.).
• Handle follow-ups, objections, and customer queries promptly.

3. Sales Execution & Revenue Growth

• Manage the complete sales lifecycle — prospecting to closure.
• Handle government/PSU tenders, GEM, RFPs, and vendor onboarding.
• Coordinate with technical/operations teams for installations and client satisfaction.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets.

4. Sector-Specific Focus

• Education: Smart boards, digital classrooms, interactive panels.
• Government & PSU: Tenders, compliance, procurement processes.
• Corporate & IT: Conferencing solutions, displays, collaboration tools.
• Hospitality & Travel: Displays, automation, communication tools.
• Software & IT: Cross-selling SaaS, IT services, office technology solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: B.Tech / MBA / Any relevant graduate degree.
• Experience:
• 0–1 year (Freshers)
• 2–3 years of relevant sales experience
• 3–5 years of proven B2B, B2C, and B2G experience (AV/IT preferred)

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of AV products, IT solutions, Government/PSU procurement.
• Ability to manage field sales independently across the North-East.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic AV technical knowledge.
• Target-driven mindset with strong problem-solving ability.

Organizational & Time Management:

• Ability to manage multiple accounts, tenders, and priorities.
• Strong planning, reporting, and follow-up discipline.

Travel Requirements:

• Willing to travel extensively within Guwahati and North-East regions.
• Participation in client meetings, demos, trade shows, and events as needed.
